When booking a service via the MAK.today app you will have access to cleaner profile, which includes seletheir name, experience and rating
Our cleaners will display their booking confirmation, identification, such as a UK ID card, passport or any other photo ID, or National ID card upon arrival and on request.
MAK.today platform connects people with agencies providing house cleaning services in London. These agencies set their fees with us. We provide both parties with tech platforms for smooth operations
Our cleaners only respond to requests made via the MAK.today app. Any outside arrangement will breach our agreed terms & conditions. For more information, please see our terms and conditions.
In the situation where a cleaner cancels a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will try our best to assign you a replacement as soon as possible. In the event that we are unable to find a replacement on that day, we will assign a cleaner of your choosing to an alternate day and time that suits you.
We strive to maintain the highest quality of professional standards and ethics. However, in the case of a missed appointment, please inform us immediately via the app or hotline and we will find you a replacement as soon as we can.

If you’ve booked their services before, you can chat to them anytime.
The app displays the cost of the cleaner’s services before you book your appointment. Hourly rates depend on each cleaner’s individual fee. However, these may vary when you’re making multiple or bulk bookings, where discounted rates may be available.
Payment should be made with your registered payment method i.e., credit or debit card via the app, the details of which can be stored for future bookings.
You can use all major debit and credit cards including Amex.
Please do not pay your cleaner cash under any circumstances. Your card will be charged once your chosen cleaner is assigned to your service order.
All jobs cancelled or amended between 6 and 24 hours before the confirmed booking time will incur the following charges:

Please note you can cancel or reschedule one or all of your cleans in your account or in the app any time up to 24 hours before the appointment start time without incurring any charge.

Of course! Should you be unsatisfied for any reason, please call or email us and we will assist in finding you a suitable replacement for your next booking.
We take all feedback very seriously and seek continuous improvement. This is because all of our cleaners must maintain consistently high ratings to remain on the MAK.today platform.
It’s important to share your requirements right at the outset with our cleaners to ensure your expectations are met.
From what cloths to use in which area, to how you want the floors to be cleaned and with which cleaning solution and even the sequence of cleaning your home, should all be explained to our cleaners before your booking starts.
That said, if you are not totally satisfied with the job, just let us know within 24 hours of job completion.
All customers must provide a mop and bucket, toilet brush and vacuum cleaner as standard (plus an iron and board if ironing is required).
For a complete clean and depending on your requirements, you must provide the following as needed:
- Bathroom cleaner
- Bin bags
- Floor cleaner
- Glass cleaner
- Kitchen cleaner
- Laundry detergent
- Limescale remover
- Microfiber cloths (washed between visits)
- Rubber gloves
- Toilet cleaner
- Vacuum bags (if required)
- Washing-up liquid
Cleaning service includes cleaning of kitchens and bathrooms, vacuuming throughout the house, mopping, making beds, dusting all surfaces, including baseboards and light fixtures.

Yes, if you are above 18 years old and if you are a British national or Permanent Resident or have a valid visa (not tourist visa).
Work Permit holding foreign nationals may also work through their employers if they are signed up as a Service Partner with us.
As a self-employed service provider, you are your own boss and manage your own micro-business. You decide where, when and what cleaning offers you accept and at which hourly rate. To work independently in the UK, you require the relevant right to work document. Taking care of your own health insurance and taxes falls under your responsibility.
Our customers are typically living in family homes, flats, and apartments of varying sizes, but also businesses such as shops and offices may also sign up for cleaning services
No, any outside arrangement is against our agreed terms and conditions. It will result in immediate termination of contract and potential penalties. For more information, please see our terms and conditions.
In the rare situation where a customer cancels their booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify you and will do our best to assign you a replacement job.
In the case that the customer can’t be reached at the time agreed, please inform us immediately via the app or hotline.
In a nutshell, it means that you are:
- Free to define your geographical area you want to work in,
- Free to select your working hours, and work only when you want,
- Free to set your cleaning service price per hour,
- Free to learn and increase a quality of cleaning service you provide.
The partnership with MAK.today is free of charge, without exclusivity and without commitment. We support you in the development of your business.
To make it work for you and for MAK.today, we ask you to follow a few simple rules:
- Respond to every booking.
- Honour booked appointments.
- Ensure a quality service using professional equipment.
- Retain customers on MAK.today.
Partnering with MAK.today is first and foremost a relationship based on trust. We look forward to starting this journey with you.
You can accept as many job orders through the MAK.today Pro App as you like, so long as you aren’t compromising the quality of each clean.
We pay a flat hourly rate based on your set rate and the number of hours of service provided to our customers. We also offer competitive salaries for full time roles.
We know: as a mobile professional, you sometimes have to chase a client for payment, and that’s no fun. MAK.today pays you by bank transfer on a bi- weekly basis, which is quick and easy. We send you a statement of the sessions you have done with MAK.today for your declarations.
All MAK.today Pro are paid every 2 weeks. You will be able to view and receive statements for jobs done on your account.
We expect the highest professional standards and ethics from all of our cleaners. However, in an unfortunate scenario where you need to cancel a job request, then you can cancel it via the phone app.
Please note, the following penalties may apply for such cancellations:
Cancellation/Reschedule More than 24 hrs
Cancellation Between 4-24 Hours Before of the Assigned Start Time
Under 4 Hours Until the Schedule Start Time
